A Day In Infamy (April 6, 1830)

The following was written by Agusta Harting, a dear sister in Christ who escaped Mormonism in 1981.

Today the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) celebrate the 195th anniversary of their church. Much fanfare is now in the LDS Tabernacle as their world famous choir bellows out songs of all kinds, some sung to honor their “Prophet” and a few others in praise of the man they call: “savior and redeemer, Jesus the Christ.”

Their twelve Apostles will address the millions of Mormons listening all over the world to these men who profess to speak for God “to the children of men”. The talks will culminate in the address of their current “Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Russell M. Nelson.”

So, why INFAMY? Why are all Christians not rejoicing with the LDS Brethren and Sisters? Because they aren’t our brothers and sisters in Christ. Even though they claim to be the ONLY rightfully qualified Church on Earth, they are a cleverly crafted counterfeit of “The faith which was once delivered unto the Saints,” the true faith that God commands us in Scripture to DEFEND! (See Jude 3).

Following are a few things Mormon prophets, beginning with Joseph Smith Jr., teach:

1) ALL Christianity was lost before 1830, when Smith received a command (in person) from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to “restore” it to the original NT church.

2) The Heavenly Father has a body of flesh and bones. He is a former human who was raised by his Heavenly Parents in a distant Universe.

3) Heavenly Father (God) is a married, “exalted man.” He most likely has multiple wives. One of the wives is called by LDS: HEAVENLY MOTHER. She gave birth to all persons on this Earth BEFORE we came here in physical bodies. She’s so holy that we mustn’t even know her name.

4) Jesus was Heavenly Mother’s firstborn spirit child. He didn’t exist before Heavenly Father impregnated her by literal, sexual intercourse. Later, in this same manner, she bore another son, Lucifer, who would rebel and become The Devil, Satan.

5) He and Jesus grew up together as Spirit Brothers. We, all of humanity, were likewise begotten by these Heavenly Parents, and we were all sent to Earth in order for us to “gain physical bodies” beginning with Adam (who was actually Michael the Archangel!).

6)  Jesus came to Earth in order to perfect himself, as well as to die on that cross so that ALL mankind would eventually gain physical bodies in order to be judged at that last White Throne Judgment.  Until then, the spirits of the dead go to two places. The unworthy to Spirit Prison, but faithful Mormons to Paradise. (Only those with a passport from Joseph Smith Jr. can enter Paradise!)

7) There are three different Heavens. The Worthy (only Mormons) eventually go to the highest heaven (Celestial Kingdom) to become Gods and goddesses, just like Heavenly Parents before them. They will begin another human race that will be exactly like here, and the goddesses (worthy Mormon Sisters) will be pregnant with spirit babies (from celestial sex) for all eternity to come.

Dear friends, does this sound like Christianity to you?

Despite all the right words, never forget that Mormons have a different meaning behind them. Mormonism fails the test for the “Faith Once Delivered” on every single level. They have a different God, a different Jesus, a different spirit and a different gospel. They try to hide their “spiritual meat” from unsuspecting householders who let them in to teach and recruit. Not until later are they aware of what these men teach.

Please witness the TRUE GOSPEL to lost Mormons. My family and I were members there for fifteen years. We had no idea what the Bible taught, and when we saw something that contradicted LDS teachings, we were immediately told that it was because the Bible wasn’t “translated correctly.” Plain and precious truths had allegedly been removed from it by evil men!
